Will I have a someone guiding me during my retreat?
From the time we pick you up, you will be guided or helped with your way around during the course / retreat as well as for getting around.
The staff at our venues are knowledgeable of the locality and will be available for any assistance you need about getting around, tours, massages, taxis etc.
You will have group tours sometimes included in your package and sometime you may add to your time with us at your own cost.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed, inform us immediately. We will adjust your itinerary, pick up etc accordingly.
Can I request special meals during the trip?
Yes. You can let us know your dietary preferences, and we’ll arrange suitable meals for you within the range of a vegetarian diet.
What should I do if I lose my belongings?
You must inform the necessary local airport or other authorities of this as soon as you realized your luggage has not accompanied you and make arrangements for the it to arrive at the Ora location later at its arrival, by providing them with the correct address and a point of local contact. At your arrival at Ora, you must also make our staff aware of this during your registration.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit, debit cards and paypal through our online payment gateways. Some packages may allow installment plans.
Is my payment refundable if I cancel my trip?
At Ora Healing, payments are non-refundable, as your spot reserves accommodations, facilitators, and resources in advance. However, we understand that life happens — so we’re happy to offer a credit transfer toward a future training, retreat, or program of your choice, either on a similar date or at a different location, depending on availability.
Are there additional fees beyond the package price?
What’s included may vary from package to package, but most packages include the training, accommodation, food, transfers and 1-2 local tours. Each package page will clearly state the details of what is included.
What happens if my refund is delayed?
Refund processing times vary depending on the payment method. If delayed, please reach out to our customer service for an update.
Do I need a visa for my trip?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and destination. You must look up or contact your respected country’s designated embassy or consul service to inquire. We are happy to assist with any form or information you require for your visa application.
Are vaccinations required for certain destinations?
Some countries require vaccinations before entry. Check health guidelines or consult a doctor for necessary immunizations.
What travel documents should I bring?
You must carry a valid passport, visa (as required), travel insurance (as needed), printed copies of your booking confirmation and keep the contact of your final destination handy.
Do I need travel insurance?
While not always mandatory, travel insurance is highly recommended to cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost baggage.
Can you assist with flight bookings?
We can help you with suggestions for flights or itinerary but you are responsible for booking your own flights.
Will I receive a confirmation after booking?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email with all travel details, including itinerary, payment receipt, and contact information.

What is the best time to join a yoga retreat or teacher training in Chiang Rai?
The ideal months are October to February when the weather is cooler, dry, and comfortable for yoga practice.
What should I pack for the weather?
Bring light breathable clothing, a light jacket for evenings, rain gear during the monsoon season, and of course, comfortable yoga wear. We’ll also send you a full packing list once you register.
Is it okay to travel during the rainy season?
Yes! In Chiang Rai,while occasional showers happen during rainy seasons April- Oct, they’re usually short-lived and offer a peaceful, introspective vibe. Our indoor and covered spaces ensure yoga continues uninterrupted.
Is it safe to travel alone to your yoga programs?
Yes. Ora Healing prioritizes your safety. We carefully vet our venues, staff, and local support teams. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, our community welcomes you with warmth and support from arrival to departure.
What health precautions should I take before coming?
We recommend basic travel insurance, updated routine vaccinations, and a consultation with your health provider. For most of our locations we recommend mosquito repellent, sun care, hydration etc.
Is the food suitable for sensitive diets?
Yes. We offer fresh, vegetarian/vegan meals, with optional gluten-free and dairy-free options upon request. Let us know any dietary needs in advance, and we’ll take care of you.
Are there nearby hospitals or emergency services?
Yes, each of our venues is located within 15–30 minutes of a quality medical facility. We offer first aid requirements, and maintain emergency contacts for each location.
How do I book a yoga teacher training or retreat with Ora Healing?

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate accredited by Yoga Alliance, which enables you to teach yoga globally.
What about injuries or pre-existing medical conditions?
If you have any injuries or pre-existing conditions, please inform us before the course begins. We can modify certain practices to accommodate your needs. Throughout the training, we prioritize safety and mindful movement to avoid injury. If an injury occurs, our instructors will assist in adjusting your practice.
Is drinking water provided?
Yes, we provide clean, filtered drinking water throughout the course. You can refill your water bottles at any time to stay hydrated.
Are study materials, books, and manuals provided?
Yes, all required study materials, including manuals, books, and worksheets, are provided as part of the course fee. You’ll receive everything you need to succeed in
your training.
How are the exams conducted?
The course includes both practical and written exams. You will be assessed on your teaching skills, knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and other areas covered during the training. Don’t worry—we provide ample guidance and support to help you prepare.
